STUFFED SCALLOP CASSEROLE

1 1/2 pounds fresh scallops
2 cups bread crumbs
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 cup melted butter
1/4 cup salad oil
1/2 cup water

Wash scallops lightly in cold water. Set in 8 inch pie plate. Mix remaining ingredients well. Pour on top of scallops. Dot with butter. Bake at 350F for 25 to 30 minutes.
